The Back Rack originated in the basement of two sister's parents home in 2018. With both co-owners having expansive experience in the retail industry, they understood the harms and consequences of consumers shopping at fast-fashion retailers like Forever21 and H&M. Both sisters always shopped at thrift stores and second hand shops to find trend-forwarded fashion at low prices, and thought that they could take their "treasure hunting" skills to a customer base. With their mission to show individuals across the country that you are able to find up-to-date trends that were already created years ago and to eliminate shopping at fast-fashion retailers. The Back Rack has continued to grow exponentially and needed an identity to become the face of their online and in-store presence.
