The leadership team at Gymboree approached us to deliver a youthful, cohesive brand refresh that would revitalize their outdated and stale system.

Our solution was to inject some personality into the identity by hand-drawing the word-mark.

This gave an authentic, fun, youthful feeling back to the brand.

We also provided the provided team with an entirely custom handdrawn typeface that they could own and use across marketing and the entire brand experience.

Additionally, my studio redesigned Gymboree’s shopping bags, offering their customers a fresh and engaging way to experience the brand.

By printing origami instructions on the interior of the bags, we gave new life to what would otherwise be a discarded object.
